‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.‘
Deuteronomy 6:5
I’m learning.
And.
The Lord.
Our God.
Is.
Teaching me.
That.
I must.
Fear.
Him
And.
Follow.
His commandments.
Look.
The above verse.
Is.
The greatest commandment.
And.
It was.
Mentioned.
By Moses.
As he.
Spoke to.
The children.
Of.
Israel.
Before.
They.
Crossed.
The.
Jordan River.
To enter.
Into.
The promised land.
The.
Next time.
The greatest commandment.
Was mentioned.
Was by.
Jesus Christ.
‘Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. ‘
Matthew 22:37-38
Our.
Love.
For.
The Lord.
Our God.
Is.
Shown.
Through.
Our.
Obedience.
Nothing else.
Works.
If.
We can’t.
Get this right.
That’s why.
It is.
The first.
And.
The greatest commandment.
I pray.
That you.
Slow down.
And.
Spend time.
In.
God’s word.
Because.
If.
You don’t.
Know it.
How can.
You obey it?
God’s word.
Is.
Clear.
That.
We must.
Follow it.
And.
Teach it.
To.
Our children
Also.
It.
Must be.
Written.
On.
Our hearts.
And.
All over.
Our homes!
‘“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.‘
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
I love you!
And.
I pray your day is blessed!
In Jesus name, Amen!
