I’m learning.

God.
Is.
Teaching me.
That.
He.
Gives.
Grace.
To.
The humble.
But.
He.
Resists.
The proud.
This year.
Pastor Cochran.
Has been.
Teaching us.
How to.
Become.
Learned saints.
So.
We can.
Experience.
God’s.
Divine progression.
In.
Our lives.
Unfortunately.
I had.
A prideful spirit.
When.
I was.
Young.
And.
It extended.
Into.
My.
Young adult.
Years.
Ultimately.
I would not.
Listen.
To my.
Elders.
Especially.
If.
I felt like.
They disrespected me.
It.
Wasn’t until.
God.
Started.
Dealing.
With me.
Is.
When.
I knew.
It was.
Time.
To change.
How.
Did I know.
It was.
Time.
To change?
I stopped.
Progressing.
And.
I was.
Stuck.
In.
A place.
Where.
My life.
Had become.
Stagnant.
I was.
Used to.
Winning.
And.
Having success.
My.
Whole life.
In.
High school.
I excelled.
In.
The US Army.
I moved up.
The ranks.
Quickly.
Then.
It all.
Stopped.
Why?
Because.
My pride.
Had grown.
Out of.
Control.
I looked down.
On people.
I complained.
About everything.
And.
Deep down.
I was.
Unhappy.
I could not.
Find joy.
In anything.
So.
From 2016.
Until.
Last year.
God.
Humbled me.
Over.
Those years.
God.
Placed me.
In.
Some.
Challenging.
Situations.
Where.
I knew.
He was.
Working.
On me.
And.
My only.
Way out.
Was.
Through.
Him!
Now.
I’m grateful.
For.
God’s correction.
And.
For.
His grace.
For not.
Wiping.
Me out!
Even though.
I deserved it.
I pray.
That.
You.
Don’t make.
The same.
Mistakes.
That.
I’ve made.
In.
My life.
Therefore.
Humble yourself.
And.
Don’t wait.
For.
God.
To do it!
I love you!
And.
I pray your day is blessed!
