‘above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; ‘
Ephesians 6:16-17
Bible study was on fire this morning!
And I want to share my notes with you.
Scripture tells us.
‘For we walk by faith, not by sight. ‘
II Corinthians 5:7
However.
We still get caught up.
In what we see.
In order to have faith.
We must know the truth.
Where can we find the truth?
‘Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. ‘
John 17:17
If we are not reading.
The Word of God.
We don’t know the truth.
If we don’t know the truth.
Our faith will reside in.
What we see.
Scripture tells us.
‘But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”’
Matthew 4:4
Once we know the truth.
We won’t get swayed by the words of men.
And our faith will be rooted in God’s Word.
Faith shields us.
From the attacks of the enemy.
And the Word of God.
Is our sword.
To fight back against the enemy.
Who is the enemy?
Most times.
It’s our mind and flesh.
Therefore.
We must renew our minds daily.
With the Word of God.
I love you!
And pray your day is blessed!
