Day 194: I Corinthians 2:4-5

‘And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.’

I Corinthians 2:4-5

I’ve never invested.

In any formal training.

In speech or writing.

I wanted to.

But.

I couldn’t afford it.

So I tried to learn.

As much as I could.

Through.

YouTube.

And.

Other sources.

On the internet.

Over time.

I attempted.

To mimic.

Other speakers.

Or Pastors.

I followed.

Nothing really.

Stuck.

And.

I felt like a fraud.

Last year.

Around Christmas break.

I let it go.

And.

Made up my mind.

That I was going to be.

Who God made me to be.

I was done.

Trying to become something.

Or someone.

Please know this.

God gave you a gift.

So use it!

Just like Paul did.

‘For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.’

I Corinthians 1:17

Don’t let fear.

Or.

Your own will.

Force you.

To be someone.

Or.

Do something.

He hasn’t called you to be or do.

Trust His plan.

And everything.

He has for you.

Will be yours!
