‘I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. ‘
I Corinthians 4:14
As a father.
The best.
I can give my children.
Is the TRUTH.
I used to.
Believe.
That I had to.
Provide.
And.
Protect.
But.
If I remain.
In God’s will.
They will forever.
Be taken care of.
However.
I must prepare them.
For what is to come.
And.
Warn them.
When they stray.
From the way.
In the verse above.
Paul is writing to.
The people of Corinth.
‘For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. ‘
I Corinthians 4:15
He encourages them to imitate His ways.
And.
He is sending Timothy.
To remind them of the way.
As a father.
And.
Coach.
My job is to prepare the way.
Sacrifice.
For my children.
And.
Athletes.
Daily.
I must carry my cross first.
Before I can help them.
With theirs.
That’s what real.
Leaders in Christ do.
I pray.
That the real stand up.
And.
Stop living in fear.
Because.
Your children.
Are depending on you!
