‘Thus God repaid the wickedness of Abimelech, which he had done to his father by killing his seventy brothers. ‘

Judges 9:56

I’m learning.

And.

God.

Has been.

Faithful.

In.

Teaching me.

That.

The wicked.

Will not.

Go.

Unpunished.

Abimelech.

Who was.

Gideon’s son.

‘And his concubine who was in Shechem also bore him a son, whose name he called Abimelech. ‘

Judges 8:31

Killed.

His.

Seventy brothers.

Because.

He wanted.

To rule.

Over.

The people.

Of.

Shechem.

‘Then he went to his father’s house at Ophrah and killed his brothers, the seventy sons of Jerubbaal, on one stone. But Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left, because he hid himself. And all the men of Shechem gathered together, all of Beth Millo, and they went and made Abimelech king beside the terebinth tree at the pillar that was in Shechem.’

Judges 9:5-6

However.

While.

Abimelech.

Did reign.

Over.

Shechem.

For.

Three years.

God.

Turned.

The people.

Against him.

‘God sent a spirit of ill will between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech, ‘

Judges 9:23

Eventually.

Abimelech.

Would be.

Killed.

By.

A woman.

In.

Battle.

‘But a certain woman dropped an upper millstone on Abimelech’s head and crushed his skull. Then he called quickly to the young man, his armorbearer, and said to him, “Draw your sword and kill me, lest men say of me, ‘A woman killed him.’ ” So his young man thrust him through, and he died. ‘

Judges 9:53-54

Look.

It’s not.

Worth it.

To.

Exalt yourself.

Before.

It’s.

Your time.

Wait!

On.

The Lord.

And.

He will.

Exalt you!

Also.

Please know.

That.

The wickedness.

Of.

This hour.

Will not.

Go unpunished.

Therefore.

Stay focus.

On.

God.

And.

Don’t get.

Caught up.

In it!

I pray.

That you.

Allow.

The truth.

To.

Enter.

Your life.

And.

Allow it.

To.

Transform you.

Into.

The man.

Or.

Woman.

God.

Needs you.

To be!

Because.

Pride.

Ego.

Selfishness.

And.

Greed.

Will.

Ruin.

Your life!

I love you!

And.

I pray your day is blessed!

In Jesus name, Amen!
