‘Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, “It is the Lord . Let Him do what seems good to Him.”’

I Samuel 3:18

I’m learning.

And.

God.

Has been.

Faithful.

In.

Teaching me.

That.

Whatever.

The Lord.

Does.

Is.

For.

My good!

It’s easy.

To.

Give.

God.

Praise.

And.

Honor.

When.

Everything.

Is.

Going well.

But.

When.

The Lord.

Chastens.

Us.

Can we.

Give.

Him.

The same.

Praise?

Eli.

Who was.

The priest.

At.

The tabernacle.

Of.

The Lord.

Had.

Two sons.

That.

Cursed.

The Lord.

‘Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know the Lord . ‘

I Samuel 2:12

Then.

A man.

Of.

God.

Revealed.

To.

Eli.

God’s prophecy.

Against.

His family.

‘Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “Thus says the Lord : ‘Did I not clearly reveal Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? ‘

I Samuel 2:27

The man.

Of.

God.

Revealed.

That.

His family.

Will be.

Cut off.

And.

He will.

Raise up.

A faithful.

Servant.

That.

Will do.

The desires.

Of.

His heart.

And.

Mind.

‘Now this shall be a sign to you that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them. Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. ‘

I Samuel 2:34-35

While.

The Lord.

Revealed.

This prophecy.

To.

Eli.

Through.

The man.

Of.

God.

This prophecy.

Was.

Also.

Revealed.

To.

Samuel.

While.

He was.

Young.

Serving.

Under.

Eli.

In.

The tabernacle.

‘Then the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. In that day I will perform against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knows, because his sons made themselves vile, and he did not restrain them. ‘

I Samuel 3:11-13

And.

When.

Samuel.

Shared.

The prophecy.

With.

Eli.

He knew.

The Lord’s will.

Must.

Be done.

Look.

There are.

Consequences.

For.

All.

Of.

Our actions.

Therefore.

It is.

Wise.

For.

Us.

To remain.

In.

God’s will.

Because.

That’s where.

Our.

Protection is.

Even though.

Eli.

Was.

A priest.

The Lord.

Expected him.

To.

Deal with.

His sons.

And.

Since.

He didn’t.

The Lord.

Had to.

Deal.

With him!

I pray.

That you.

Learn.

To.

Give.

The Lord.

His praise.

When.

Everything.

Goes well.

And.

When.

The Lord.

Is.

Chastening you!

This shows.

That.

We are.

Mature.

In.

Our walk.

With.

Him.

And.

We know.

His will.

Is.

For.

Our good!

I love you!

And.

I pray your day is blessed!

In Jesus name, Amen!
