And David behaved wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him.

I Samuel 18:14

I’m learning.

And.

God.

Has been.

Faithful.

In.

Teaching me.

That.

Even.

When.

People.

Mistreat.

Me.

I must.

Behave.

Wisely!

David.

Delivered.

The Israelites.

From.

The hand.

Of.

The Philistines.

Several.

Times.

And.

Everyone.

Loved him.

For it.

‘So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and behaved wisely. And Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul’s servants. ‘

I Samuel 18:5

However.

Saul.

Became.

Jealous.

Of.

David’s fame.

And.

Resented him.

‘Then Saul was very angry, and the saying displeased him; and he said, “They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed only thousands. Now what more can he have but the kingdom?” So Saul eyed David from that day forward.’

I Samuel 18:8-9

Even.

To.

The point.

Where.

Saul.

Attempted.

To.

Strike.

David.

With.

His spear.

‘And it happened on the next day that the distressing spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied inside the house. So David played music with his hand, as at other times; but there was a spear in Saul’s hand. And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice.’

I Samuel 18:10-11

Then.

Saul.

Attempted.

To.

Set.

David.

Up.

With.

His daughter.

For marriage.

But.

His intent.

Was.

For.

Her.

To be.

A snare.

To him.

And.

The Philistines.

Would.

Kill him.

In.

Battle.

‘Now Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved David. And they told Saul, and the thing pleased him. So Saul said, “I will give her to him, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David a second time, “You shall be my son-in-law today.”’

I Samuel 18:20-21

But.

God.

Didn’t.

Allow it.

To work!

‘therefore David arose and went, he and his men, and killed two hundred men of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full count to the king, that he might become the king’s son-in-law. Then Saul gave him Michal his daughter as a wife.’

I Samuel 18:27

Ultimately.

David.

Handled.

Everything.

Saul.

Sent.

His way.

Well.

But.

Check.

This out.

David.

Didn’t know.

Saul.

Was.

Against him!

Look.

I know.

I’ve been.

There.

Where.

Someone.

Is.

Smiling.

In.

My face.

Gathering.

Information.

To use.

It.

Against me.

Or.

Secretly.

Wanting.

Me.

To fail.

And.

I didn’t.

Handle.

It.

Well.

Or.

Behaved.

Wisely.

Which.

Resulted.

In me.

Creating.

A mess.

Because.

I attempted.

To.

Fight back.

Against.

Them.

Myself.

Instead.

Of.

Letting.

God.

Fight.

For me!

Now.

As.

I have.

Become.

Learned.

I pray.

And.

Ask.

The Lord.

To reveal.

Who.

I’m dealing.

With.

Upfront.

And.

I handle.

Everything.

They.

Throw.

At me.

Well.

Because.

I refuse.

To.

Allow.

Anyone.

To.

Get me.

Out.

Of.

God’s will!

Therefore.

When.

Others.

Intentions.

Are.

To do.

Evil.

Against me.

I handle.

It well.

And.

I behave.

Wisely!

I pray.

That you.

Handle.

Everything.

Your enemies.

Throw.

At you.

Well.

And.

You behave.

Wisely.

Because.

The Lord.

Is.

With you.

And.

He will.

Fight.

Your battles!

I love you!

And.

I pray your day is blessed.

In Jesus name, Amen!
