I Kings.
I noticed.
How.
That.
Was.
The case.
For.
King Solomon.
In.
The beginning.
He loved.
The Lord.
‘And Solomon loved the Lord , walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.’
I Kings 3:3
But.
Eventually.
His lustful.
Desires.
Led him.
Away.
From.
The Lord!
‘For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. ‘
I Kings 11:4
Look.
Our walk.
With.
The Lord.
Won’t.
Be easy.
But.
If we.
Are.
Wiling.
And.
Obedient.
He.
Will.
Show us.
What.
To do.
‘Show me Your ways, O Lord ; Teach me Your paths.’
Psalms 25:4
Also.
The Lord.
Will.
Teach us.
The truth!
‘Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.’
Psalms 25:5
Therefore.
Keep.
Your faith.
And.
Keep.
Your trust.
In.
The Lord.
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.’
Proverbs 3:5-6
Because.

Don’t.
The Lord’s.
Favor.
Will.
Depart.
From.
You!
‘Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant. ‘

Keep.
Your faith.
