The Book of Acts.
Has been good so far.
I’m learning about the beginnings of the church.
And how Peter and the eleven disciples.
Received the Holy Spirit.
‘When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.’
Acts 2:1-4
Immediately afterwards.
Peter began to preach.
To the people of Jerusalem.
He tells them about the words.
Of the prophet Joel.
And David.
How they spoke about Jesus.
In their day.
Before He became flesh.
And how He would die for our sins.
The words of Peter.
Convicted the people.
And they asked.
‘Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”’
Acts 2:37
Peter told them.
To repent.
And be baptized.
In Jesus name.
Please.
Don’t let another day pass.
Without knowing.
You need Jesus.
He is the ONLY way.
To God.
And saving your life.
Repent.
And be baptized in Jesus name.
The gift is.
The Holy Spirit.
That will guide you.
Into the truth.
‘Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’
